Sash & Casement Windows

Full draught proofing is also available on sash and casement windows.

Sash Windows

Both of the sashes are taken out of the frame. Paint build-up is removed from where impeding movement creates excessive paint. Small grooves are then cut into the timber with a highly precise grooving machine. The carrier, pile & seal are then inlaid to the groove. Parting beads are removed and then replaced with a new timber parting bead. Sashes are then accurately weighed and then if required, additional counterbalance weights will be added. New pulley wheels are installed wherever necessary. The sashes are realigned where it's practical and reassembled within the box frame with brand new sash cords. New staff beads with brush pile are installed. New Timber will be primed ready for decoration or if requested, it will be decorated by our installer.

Casement Windows

Windows are removed from the frame and aligned. Grooves are cut and then inlaid with the carrier, pile & seal. The windows are hung and adjusted as needed.
